Find Time for a Quick Energy Boost

Finding time to exercise can sometimes feel like trying to squeeze your feet into shoes that are too small. That can be especially true at such a busy time of year. So here are three things to consider, no matter what time of year it is and how busy you are:

Finding time to exercise is important!
Your practice time should not be long.
EVERY time you exercise, you will increase your energy!
Finding time to exercise is important.
If you make exercise a priority, you are more likely to find time for it. The benefits are so great, it's really worth doing!

Your practice time should not be long.

This is very true - and it is a place where many people get tripped. Unless you are training for a marathon ... and maybe even then, well ... it's more important things to do than worry about how long you do it. If you only have five or 10 minutes, do not let that stop you. If you do not have your workout clothes, do not let that stop you. You can still do something - and something much better than nothing!

EVERY time you exercise you increase your energy.

This is something that must be experienced to understand. Improving the energy comes from various sources, I believe. Here are two examples:

One is purely physical rush, which will make you feel better, more focused, and ready to move forward to the rest of your day.
Other increases came from the great feeling after following through on a commitment to yourself. When you do that you build confidence and send yourself a beautiful, self-nurturing messages.
Try to set aside time to exercise. Build it into your routine gradually ... in whatever makes sense to you. Not to be a LOT of time ... JUST DO IT (as they say). And I want to hear how it goes!
Let's explore the time together ...

Another day at work, then three days off

I used to have a certain feeling all the time- that feeling of wanting to be somewhere else. Since I met Jay, I haven't had much of that feeling anymore.

Things aren't perfect, but they're pretty good, I guess. There are a couple of things that aren't, but then, there always are.

Copied from Cayla and a little late- a very important friday five:

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
There have been a couple of accomplishments this year. I'm now a second-semester sophomore. Rogan wasn't good for me; Jay is amazing. I think I'm bringing my GPA up, but fall grades haven't been posted yet. I've kept up well with my old friends for the most part. I've made an amazing group of girl friends at college who are everything I have always hoped for. Overall, my biggest accomplishment has been getting to where I am now. I'm in a good place- and it wasn't just my accomplishment. I owe my happiness to many people- and I thank you all.

2. What was your biggest disappointment?
My biggest disappointment was the trouble I let myself get into in my last relationship.

3. What do you hope the new year brings?
I hope that I make good grades. I hope that my relationships grow stronger. I hope that my old friends stick with me as I plan to stick with them. I hope that Matt finds a path that will make him happy. I hope that my mom is happy.

4.Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be?
I'm horrible at New Year's resolutions. I never keep them. If I do happen to fulfill one of the resolutions, it's certainly not because it was a New Year's resolution. However, there is always my life resolution. I had the same one at size 20 that I have at size 11. Lose weight! I really really must eat better this semester. I must, I must, I must. I should give up bagels and 3 a.m. ordering. I should grocery shop so that I have healthy food on hand. I should, I should.

5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
I cooked dinner for Jay, Carlton, and Tom. I had a rum and coke. We watched the ball drop. Cyndi Lauper looked wicked old. Jay and I watched Sex and the City and fell asleep.
tell me something good
